Privacy Policy & COPPA Addendum

1. The Orbtic Privacy Guarantee
Orbtic Inc. ("Orbtic", "we", "us") builds autonomous learning infrastructure. Because our primary users are children, privacy is not an afterthought; it is engineered into our core architecture. We utilize "Edge Processing" and "Data Decoupling" to ensure that we never possess raw biometric data or commingle personally identifiable information (PII) with learning telemetry.2. Information We Collect
A. Account Information (Parents & Centers): To operate the Neural Midnight dashboard, we collect parent/guardian names, email addresses, and payment information (processed securely via Stripe). Center Directors provide institutional details and roster names.
B. Child Profiles:We collect the child's first name and age bracket, provided by the Parent or the Center.
C. Anonymized Learning Telemetry: We collect interaction data (e.g., reaction times, phonetic accuracy, interaction frequency). This data is permanently decoupled from PII at the database layer using anonymous unique identifiers (UUIDs).
D. Voice and Vision Processing (Edge-Only): Orbtic utilizes the device's camera and microphone to enable spatial math and language learning. Raw audio buffers and video frames are processed entirely on the local device's Neural Engine. We do not transmit, record, or store raw video or audio files on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the Orbtic app and Neural Midnight dashboard.
- To synthesize anonymized learning telemetry via our proprietary AI pipelines to generate high-signal progress reports for parents.
- To improve our spaced-repetition algorithms and curriculum modules based on aggregated, de-identified data.
4. COPPA Compliance
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without Verifiable Parental Consent.
B2B / School Deployments: When Orbtic is deployed in a school or learning center, the Center acts as the agent to provide consent on behalf of the parents for the collection of educational data, as permitted by COPPA.
D2C / Orbtic Home: Parents provide direct verifiable consent upon creating an account and initiating a subscription.
The Right to Deletion:Parents have the right to review, request deletion of, or refuse further collection of their child's personal information at any time via the Neural Midnight dashboard. Upon deletion, all PII is scrubbed. Remaining educational telemetry is permanently orphaned and fully anonymized for system training.
